Dear PM Lee,
I refer to the 12 Sept 2010 Straits Times report of your week long trip to China.
You said every city wants a ‘Suzhou park’. It’s not hard to guess why. Imagine committing nothing to the project but ending up owning half of it, what a great bargain to be had! No wonder every city wants a Suzhou park.
We would be really stupid to commit enormous resources to build a ‘Suzhou’ park in each and every Chinese city only to give up half of each park to each city.
